壺屋の景色をつなげる – Forming the Landscape of Tsuboya, Piece by Piece 2025

A short documentary for Ikutouen, a pottery rooted in Tsuboya, Naha, Okinawa.
Amid rapid urbanization, the film observes how traditional craftsmanship remains intertwined with everyday life and the surrounding scenery, quietly carrying Tsuboya’s sense of place into the future.
Centered on Ikutouen’s concept of “Forming the Landscape of Tsuboya, Piece by Piece,” the film captures not only the process of making pottery, but also moments of prayer, daily life, and the relationships between family and community—preserving the sense of time that flows through this place.

沖縄・那覇の壺屋にある窯元「育陶園」のショートドキュメンタリー。
育陶園が掲げる「壺屋の景色をつなぐ」というコンセプトを軸に、器づくりの工程だけでなく、祈り、暮らし、家族や地域との関係性まで含めて、壺屋の景色を映像に残した。那覇の都市化が進む中で、壺屋に残り、受け継がれてきた景色たちを、育陶園がどのようにして繋いでいくのか。その現在を記録した。
